Your products, photographs, pages, order history and reviews come across from your current site’s export, and your domain comes with you. Nobody has to retype a catalog, and your email records are copied before anything changes.

You start with a conversation, not a form. Write to us, and we talk through your shop: what you sell, how you deliver, who works the counter, what your website does today. Ask, and we open the demo shop for you to try. If it is a fit, we agree a date.
You hear the price from us before anything else happens. Nothing on this page asks for a card.

Your catalog comes across
Products, sizes, prices, descriptions, categories and every photograph are imported from an export of your current site, whichever platform it runs on. We run the import once as a rehearsal and show you the result before it is real. Then we run it for real. Nothing is retyped by hand, and you see the result before it is real.

Your pages keep their words
The pages you wrote over the years come across from the same export: about, delivery information, weddings, the occasions, the journal. A page that arrives in its old shape can be edited word by word straight away, or converted to the Trellis editor when you are ready. Every page in the export comes across.

Your history comes with you
Past orders are imported into the same list as the new ones, marked with where they came from. When a returning customer calls, the counter finds them by name, email or phone and sees what they ordered before and who they sent it to. Your newsletter list comes across too, with your unsubscribes honored.

Your addresses keep working
Every page and product keeps a web address, and where the address has to change, the old one forwards to the new one. The links you have earned over the years, in search results, on other sites, in customers’ bookmarks, still land somewhere that works. The old links still land somewhere that works, which gives your search ranking the best chance of carrying over.

Your domain moves without breaking your email
You keep your domain where you registered it. Before anything changes, Trellis reads your current settings and copies the records that carry your email, so that mail keeps arriving when the website moves. It will not hand you the instruction until the copy matches your current records. Then you make one change at your registrar, and both the plain address and the www address point at your new shop.

Printers, then the first morning
We set up the printers so the driver ticket, the card and the envelope print themselves the moment an order is paid. Setting up takes up to three hours when a shop needs it, and most do not. After that, support is by email. The staff order form asks for what it needs in the order a florist thinks, so a new person can take an order on their first day.

Will the shop close for the move?
No. The new shop is built beside the old one, and you place a test order on the demo shop before the domain moves. The switch itself is one change at your registrar.
What about my wedding proposals?
Proposals, contracts and the costed wedding book start fresh in Trellis, because no two systems keep them the same way. Print your open proposals from your old system before it closes; they are not carried across.
Do I need a developer?
No. The import, the domain move and the printers are our job. Afterwards, titles, photographs, hours, the words on your pages, navigation and policies are yours to change from the studio, without asking anyone.

Your data was always yours. It leaves with you.

Everything, in a file you can use
Download a full export of your shop’s data at any time, from a button in your studio, in a common machine-readable format: customers, orders, products, and a link to every photograph. You do not have to be leaving to do it, and if you would rather we send it, ask.
One email to cancel
Write to info@trellisenterprises.com. There is one rule. You are billed for the month you give notice in and for the month after it, and your service ends on the last day of that second month. Nothing is billed after that, and there is never a part month to work out. On a yearly term the notice is the same, and what happens to the money you have already paid is under Refunds in the terms.
Time to finish, and to take your things
After your service ends, your studio stays open for six months so you can deliver and close the orders already in it. No new orders are taken. The download button works the whole time. For the first thirty days you can also ask us to send you the export; after that it is too late to ask. At six months the studio closes and your data is deleted.
Your domain was never ours
You kept your own domain account through the move, so pointing your domain at your next home is one change there, the same kind you made for us. We hand your records back, email included, within the same week. There is no retention conversation.
The same rights either way
If we ever decline to renew your subscription or end it for our own reasons, your export rights hold in full. That is in the terms, not just on this page.
